An Albanian couple was eventually arrested after a random check by the Hellenic Police on Sokratus Street in central Athens.
According to information, shortly after 4:00 PM, there was a traffic update in the Sokratus area due to the inspection of a random vehicle. During the search, police found a package containing explosives, as well as firearms.
The two arrested individuals, a man and a woman, were taken to the Police Station for further questioning, while authorities are investigating the origin and destination of the items found.
