Authorities were put on alert after the discovery of a suspicious package in a car in central Athens on Sokratus Street. The package was found inside the vehicle during a police check.
Bomb Disposal Unit (TEEM) experts rushed to the scene to investigate the vehicle. Sokratus Street remains closed at this time.
