In several parts of Greece, the aurora caused by the solar storm that “hit” the Earth in the past few hours was captured from Thursday night into Friday.

Amateur photographers documented the sky turning red over Mount Paiko, Hortiatis, Halkidiki, Livadia, Evia, Penteli, Corfu, and Crete.
