A gradual retreat will be shown by the recent high temperatures.

The drop in temperatures is expected to be sensitive across the country, particularly in northern Greece.

According to the available data released by Meteo, the air masses that will settle over our country from Friday 18/10 will be generally 4 to 6 °C colder than the normal seasonal values, and locally in Northern Greece 7 to 8 °C colder than the normal seasonal values.

The red line shows the “warmest” scenario while the blue line shows the “coldest” scenario. Weather development – Good weather today and tomorrow, noticeable drop in temperature and gusty north winds on Thursday

Today Tuesday and tomorrow Wednesday will see good weather across the country.

However, on Wednesday the intensity of the north winds will gradually increase and on Thursday in the Aegean Sea, they will reach 8 Beaufort. At the same time, on Thursday the temperature will drop in most areas of the country, which will be particularly noticeable in the eastern mainland and the central and northern Aegean, where maximum values will be in the low 20s. On Friday and at the weekend the temperature will drop a little more, while there will be local rain in the west and north.

In more detail, sunny skies are forecast across the country today (Tuesday), with sparse clouds at times. Winds from northerly directions, in the Ionian Sea up to 4 to 5 Beaufort, in the Aegean Sea 6 Beaufort. The temperature in most areas will reach 25 to 28 degrees.

In Attica, the weather will be generally clear, with occasional sparse clouds. Winds north up to 5 and in the east locally up to 6 Beaufort, temperature up to 28 degrees.

And in Thessaloniki, the weather will be generally clear, with occasional sparse clouds. The winds are light, the temperature up to 26 degrees.
