The Greek athletics community mourns the loss of Dimos Maglaras, former national long jump record holder and three-time Balkan champion.
Maglaras, who passed away on October 22 at the age of 84, had an illustrious career. He competed in two Olympic Games (Rome 1960 and Tokyo 1964) and broke Greece’s long jump record in 1959. He later became involved in media and authored a book on the Olympic Games.
