Mitsotakis at SEV: Business profits should not be translated only into dividends

It is important for employees to become participants in the progress of companies, the Prime Minister noted, calling on entrepreneurs to invest in human resources

With the message: “Together we achieve more”, the open event of the annual General Assembly of the SEB is taking place at the Athens Concert Hall.

“Now is the time for a new pact of action between the state and productive actors to spread progress throughout the country,” Kyriakos Mitsotakis also noted, adding that the government’s moves are aimed at attracting investment and improving the business environment.

“€28 billion of the €36 billion of the Recovery Fund has been absorbed, Kyriakos Mitsotakis also noted and reiterated the importance of the fact that Greece currently has a very important political stability.

We still have many challenges ahead of us, we have not become a paradise and we must respond to these challenges with bold reforms, Mitsotakis also noted.

Addressing the members of SEV, the Prime Minister said that business profits should not only be translated into dividends. It is important that employees become stakeholders in the progress of companies, the Prime Minister noted, calling on businessmen to invest in human resources.

He also called for faith in competition from businesses and orientation of corporate responsibility towards social needs.
