An emergency landing at Chania was made on Friday evening (1/11) by an aircraft bound for Glasgow.
According to ERT, the captain of the A320 aircraft, which had taken off from an airport in Egypt, informed the control tower that a passenger on the flight needed immediate assistance as he was suffering a cardiac incident.
Immediately all the procedures were followed and at about 21.30 the aircraft landed at Chania airport, where an ambulance picked up the passenger. After the emergency landing, the aircraft continued its flight as normal.
