Russia: Medvedev calls a Trump presidency a blow to Ukraine

"Trump is useful because he deadly hates to spend money on various flatterers and silly cabbage allies," the former Russian president said

Newsroom November 6 11:13

Russia’s former president Dmitry Medvedev said today that a victory for Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential election would be bad news for Ukraine, but added that it was unclear to what extent Trump would be able to cut war funding.

“Trump has a useful quality for us: as a businessman, he deadly hates spending money on various flatterers and foolish colics allies, on misguided charity projects and voracious international organizations,” Medvedev, a senior security official, wrote today on his official Telegram account.

He said that the Ukrainian authorities fall into the category of those in which Trump will obviously not want to invest a lot of money and suggested that the Ukrainian leadership should do what it can to console itself in case his victory is confirmed.
