The Democratic camp is trying to figure out what’s to blame for the Kamala Harris in the US election and…George Clooney has been targeted now. The cause was an opinion piece he wrote before Joe Biden left office in the New York Times calling on the president to leave.

After Harris’ defeat, Democrats attacked the actor for his influence when he called on Biden to drop out of the race. “I love Joe Biden but we need a new candidate” was the headline of his article.

Biden later dropped out and Clooney praised him, stating that his decision was “altruistic” and showed that the president put the nation first.

Kamala Harris was in the presidential race and in the 107 days available to her, she failed to get elected. After the loss, Democrats claim George Clooney should have asked Biden to withdraw not in July, just before the election, but many months earlier, as if it all depended on him…

Accusing George Clooney!

Democratic supporters are attacking the actor in posts saying, among other things, that perhaps Republicans should thank Clooney for Trump’s victory.

A veteran-led group of political commentators, called altNOAA, wrote to X: “Someone bring me George Clooney. We need to have a…talk.”

Journalist Joshua Hartley posted a screenshot of Clooney’s article and added: “Thank you George Clooney.”

An X user wrote: “Trump should not forget to thank Hollywood celebrities. Especially George Clooney.”

A Donald Trump fan also mentioned the actor and wrote: “It just occurred to me that we haven’t acknowledged George Clooney’s role in this victory!”

“Since I’m deeply depressed and feel like taking it out on someone, what’s the plan now George Clooney?” one Democrat social media user wrote, while another simply added: “It’s all George Clooney’s fault!”
