New emergency weather bulletin from EMY – Where the bad weather will hit in the next hours

The emergency weather bulletin was updated without substantial changes

The Severe Weather Emergency issued on 11-11-2024/1130 is updated according to the latest forecast data.

It is noted that there are no material differences from the original bulletin.

The deterioration of the weather is forecast to last until tomorrow Wednesday (13-11-2024) in western Greece, with heavy rain and thunderstorms accompanied by a high frequency of lightning and local hailstorms.

In more detail, the strong phenomena will affect:
Today Tuesday (12-11-2024) the southern Ionian islands, western Sterea, the Peloponnese (Messinia, Ilia and Achaia) and Thessaly (mainly the western parts).

Tomorrow Wednesday (13-11-2024) all of Ionian, Epirus, western Sterea, western Peloponnese and possibly Thessaly.
