The naval exercise "MAVI BALINA" was in progress - The incident was mainly resolved through diplomatic channels

Newsroom November 15 10:44

A new “incident” between Greek and Turkish ships has just occurred in the Southeastern Aegean Sea, in the wider maritime area of Kassos.

While the Turkish naval exercise “MAVI BALINA” (“Blue Whale”) was underway, as is customary a Greek warship was observing the activity in the area.

At the conclusion of the exercise, four Turkish ships, while heading to the Aksaz naval base, stopped in the wider sea area of Kasou.
