Student’s ride in Prime Minister’s car sparks zealous and selfie excitement in Kapandriti

The young man impressed the Prime Minister with his knowledge of the type of vehicle and Kyriakos Mitsotakis agreed to "ride" to the Kapandriti Health Centre

Newsroom November 15 06:31

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was at the Central Square of Kapandriti where he had the opportunity to meet and talk to residents and shopkeepers of the area after visiting nurseries in the area.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis also chatted with students who had gathered in the square, took selfies and joked with them about football.

He shared a photo with the students and talked about football.

One of the dozens of children who had gathered at the central square approached the prime minister and boldly asked him to take a ride in the jeep he uses for his commute.

The young man impressed the prime minister with his knowledge of the type of vehicle and Kyriakos Mitsotakis agreed to “ride” to the Kapandriti Health Center, which was his next stop.

Friends of the boy were thrilled and followed the Prime Minister’s procession, running and laughing to the Health Center, where new photos and selfies followed.
