Panathinaikos: OAKA renamed to Telekom Arena with significant commercial deal

Panathinaikos and OAKA are entering a new level of partnership as Telekom secures the naming rights for the renovated stadium

The renaming of the OAKA indoor stadium is nearing completion, as it is expected to carry the name “Telekom Arena” starting next year.

A few months after the extreme makeover and complete renovation of the venue, the PAO AKTOR Basketball Club is said to have secured a significant commercial agreement with the German company, which will name the indoor arena of the Olympic Complex starting in January 2025.

This is undoubtedly a major commercial deal with a global giant and is expected to last for five years. The final details will be confirmed after the official announcements. The Telekom Group operates worldwide and is also a shareholder of Cosmote in Greece.
