The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) will kick off the holiday season with its annual Christmas lighting ceremony, hosted by actress Smaragda Karydi. The event will take place on Sunday, December 1st, at 7:00 PM.

Once again, the SNFCC dons its festive attire, welcoming visitors free of charge to one of Athens‘ most enchanting Christmas destinations. On this magical evening, thousands of holiday lights will illuminate the plane trees along the Canal and the decorated fir trees in the Agora. The Stavros Niarchos Park transforms into a dreamlike landscape, featuring the Light Installations Festival: four art pieces by distinguished international artists and two contributions from Greek creators, choreographing mesmerizing displays of light.
