Encouraging news has emerged for the iconic Greek singer Marinella. According to her medical team, her health is “improving at the expected pace.”
The renowned performer, stabilized and out of danger, has been transferred to a general ward at Hygeia Hospital, where she continues to be hospitalized following a severe stroke suffered during her concert at the Herodion in September.

A detailed medical update released on Thursday afternoon stated:
“As previously reported, Ms. Kyriaki Papadopoulou (Marinella) was admitted urgently to Hygeia Hospital on 25/9/2024 due to massive intracerebral hemorrhage. She remained in the hospital’s ICU until 16/10/2024.
Now stabilized and out of danger, she has been moved to a general ward, where she continues to be hospitalized. From the onset, her condition showed no major complications.
Any issues that arose were entirely expected, given her age and the severity of her illness. They were addressed promptly and effectively with the appropriate therapeutic treatments. Her health condition is improving at the expected pace.”
