The Metro stations of University and Monastiraki are closed and will be opened at a later police order.
Strong forces of the ELAS have been deployed in the center of Athens with at least 5,000 police officers on duty.
The ELAS plan includes the use of aura and drones, while police forces will be present at every possible “target”, such as police stations, ministries, and embassies.
