A break-in at the Sithonia town planning office is being reported by sources in the local municipality. The burglary reportedly took place in the late hours of Wednesday at the office of the Director, while policemen were at the facility conducting investigations.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Sithonia has decided to suspend the operation of the Ioannis Mallinis, following the scandal with the circuits issuing illegal permits ofor perating in Halkidiki.

According to reports, the mayor of Sithonia took this decision in order to check all planning permissions in progress from the specific planning department directly involved in the case.

Among other things, Mr. Mallinis calls for a full audit and to give extension to the buildings built with NSRF programs and to check the permits.
