An elderly woman in Rhodes was found dead in Rhodes after a gas cylinder exploded.

The elderly British national was fatally injured while attempting to replace an LPG cylinder in her home, according to dimokratiki.gr.

According to the same information, her daughter was also in the house and was injured by the explosion. Two vehicles of the Fire Department and an ambulance of the EKAB, which transported the body of the elderly woman to the hospital, arrived at the scene.

A preliminary investigation into the causes of the accident is being carried out by the Rhodes Fire Service.
