The digital services for the Responsible Declaration and Authorization via gov.gr are becoming even simpler and more user-friendly. Citizens will now have their personal details pre-filled, saving time, enjoying a better user experience, and minimizing any possible mistakes.
More specifically, in the new version of the Responsible Declaration, as well as the Authorization, the father’s full name, the mother’s full name, the place of birth, the document identification number, information drawn from the Tax Registry, as well as the place of residence and email address, which are extracted from the National Communication Registry, emep.gov.gr, are automatically added.
It is important to note that until now, the pre-filled details included: full name, date of birth, Tax Identification Number (TIN), and mobile phone number.
To facilitate citizens, there is now the option to edit these aforementioned details in the digital form, allowing for corrections of any inaccuracies.
Over 27 Million Responsible Declarations Issued
It is worth noting that these are two of the most popular services on gov.gr, and to date, more than 27 million Responsible Declarations and 6.6 million Authorizations have been issued.
The design and development of the service was carried out by the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Digital Governance and the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructure (EDYTE S.A. – GRNET) of the Ministry of Digital Governance. The citizens’ data are retrieved through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Digital Governance of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
