A countdown has begun for the New Year’s Eve Lottery’s big draw. The 2024 State New Year’s Lottery is one of the most beloved New Year’s traditions in Greece, offering thousands of players the chance to start the New Year with luck and wealth.

It is a lottery that is released once a year and attracts a lot of interest.

State New Year’s Eve lottery 2024: What applies to the tickets and when the draw is

The new draw for the New Year’s Eve lottery is scheduled for the last day of the year, namely 31 December 2024 (16:00) “KAPA STUDIOS – C. Karagiannis & Co., Spata, “Gialos” location.

The profit of the Big Lottery (the first number drawn and corresponding to a bill) is 1.000.000€, while the profit of the Lucky Five, which includes the winnings of the first lottery, is 5.000.000€ guaranteed.

The lottery tickets are sold to players only through the Retail Sellers of Hellenic Lotteries S.A. It is prohibited to sell Tickets to players with a price higher or lower than the price indicated on the Ticket and cannot be differentiated between Tickets of the same draw.

The State Lottery Lottery Ticket is a Lottery Ticket that is released in colour form, in one edition each year which includes one or more Series. Each Series consists of 100,000 tickets. The tickets in each Series are released in Fives of consecutive numbers (1 to 5 and 6 to 0). A Five of a Kind costs €25, and a player may choose to participate with a minimum of one Ticket, which costs €5.

Each gram costs €5, while a five-of-a-kind costs €25.

Lottery tickets come in a series of 100,000 stamps, each bearing numbers from 1 to 100,000. Each year it is printed in a series of 100,000 stamps.

It distributes over 55% of its gross proceeds to the lucky winners.
