The ELGO-DIMITRA announced the start of the implementation of the introductory training program for individuals who applied for certification and registration in the Agricultural Register on Monday, January 20.
The program will be invited to 1,223 interested persons whose applications or objections were approved by the decision of the ELGO-DIMITRA Board of Directors, as well as 330 persons already registered in the Registry who applied to be certified in additional subject areas.
It is noted that the training program will be implemented through the method of distance asynchronous training (e-learning), through ELGO-DIMTRA’s tele-training platform https://ekatartisi.elgo.gr and will last eleven (11) weeks.
The training material will be made available gradually, per subject area, every week. The posting of the educational material on the platform will take place every Monday and will last until Sunday. Trainees will have access to the material of the current and previous weeks.
On the following Monday of the week of posting each subject area, trainees will complete and submit assessment tests. The exams will be administered in the evening hours (6-8 pm) and will be one (1) hour in length.
As ELGO-DIMITRA stresses in a statement, “The rating scale ranges from 0 to 100%. The process is considered successful when the trainee receives a grade of more than or equal to 70% per subject area. If the score in one or more subject areas does not exceed 70 %, the trainee may be re-examined only once. The re-examination will be held after the completion of the training cycle”.
Finally, regarding the evaluation of the program, during the week of posting each thematic field, the form “Evaluation of the training program by thematic field” will be posted and submitted by the trainees on a mandatory basis.
