Three juveniles were arrested in Serres, for robbery, gang formation, and theft, on Sunday morning (Dec. 29) by officers of the Public Security Bureau of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Division.

The arrested minors were found by officers of the I.A.S. team of the Serres Police Department, moving with a car, which they had stolen in the early morning hours from an area of Thessaloniki.

The police investigation “showed” that on the same day, using the stolen vehicle, they approached a woman in an area of Thessaloniki, and with the use of force, throwing her to the ground, they removed a bag containing 35 euros and various personal documents and objects.

During their escape in their car they injured her in the leg.

Also inside the stolen vehicle was found the bag they had removed, without the money and was returned to the victim.

In addition, it turned out that last month another vehicle was stolen from an area of Thessaloniki and two vehicles from the town of Serres.

The stolen vehicles were found abandoned in areas of Thessaloniki and Serres and were returned to their rightful owners.
