Her New Film: A Story of Struggle and Hope
Lopez’s new movie focuses on the personal battle of a mother who suffers due to her son’s disability and decides to report her abusive partner. When asked what advice she would give to a woman unable to find the courage to report abuse, Jennifer Lopez replied:
“I wouldn’t dare to advise women who are experiencing abusive behaviors because everyone has their own journey. I hope that by watching a film like this, they might find some inspiration to overcome whatever challenges they’re facing in their lives.”
Fond Memories of New Year’s Celebrations
The Latina star also reminisced about joyful New Year’s moments she’s experienced:
“There have been so many beautiful New Year’s celebrations. I remember singing in Times Square. I remember when I was little, how much fun we had with my family during New Year’s. My mother would throw parties in our living room. There are so many wonderful memories. And, of course, when Waiting for Tonight came out, and everyone was waiting to ring in the year 2000.”
