Taxi Strike: Six-hour work stoppage – Protest march to the Ministry of Transport with horns and flares

Athens will remain without taxis until 3:00 PM

A six-hour warning strike, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, accompanied by a protest march to the Ministry of Transport, is currently being held by the Union of Taxi Drivers of Attica (SATA) in opposition to the draft bill concerning the new Road Traffic Code.

The Union’s Board of Directors unanimously decided to escalate their efforts, demanding the right for at least occupied taxis to use bus lanes.
