Dressed in a pure white suit and the necessary warm black coat due to the low temperatures and strict protocol, the new U.S. ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, attended the inauguration ceremony of the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, accompanied by her son Ronan. She managed to secure access to the Capitol Rotunda among the few and select—namely billionaires, heads of state, powerful Republican Party officials, and distinguished guests from around the globe.
Although her hearing before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee is still pending, which is expected to formally seal her assumption of new duties, Kimberly Guilfoyle continues to work and strengthen her connections with representatives of the Greek-American community in the U.S. while keeping her antennas attuned to developments on the international political stage as well as in Greece.
The new iron lady of the embassy is expected in Athens after successfully completing her congressional hearing. At the same time, she is intensifying her meetings with Greek-American entrepreneurs, representatives of church authorities, and individuals of Greek descent with significant influence across the Atlantic. Her radiant presence at the honorary event organized on the eve of Trump’s inauguration in Washington by the Greek-American community marked the first public appearance of the new ambassador. Despite stating that she was not accustomed to delivering speeches, she described her new post as a “life blessing,” addressing the attendees with the words: “I love the community, I love the country.”

Welcoming Ms. Guilfoyle, Archbishop Elpidophoros of America gifted her an icon as a symbol of the strong spiritual and cultural ties between Greece and the U.S., in the presence of prominent members of the community and the Republican Party. Surrounded by billionaire and vice president of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocesan Council, Archon Notarios John Catsimatidis, Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis of New York’s 11th District, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Michael Rigas, and Nevada Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony, Ms. Guilfoyle experienced Greek hospitality and the influence of the Greek network within the Trump administration, of which she is now an integral part.
Even though the new U.S. ambassador to Greece is no longer part of the immediate family of the 47th American president, this does not mean she has stopped caring about its members, including her former fiancé, Donald Trump Jr., son of the new world leader. On the contrary, Kimberly Guilfoyle and the entire Trump family were present together at the presidential inauguration, during which Trump Jr. was accompanied by his new girlfriend, Bettina Anderson.
In fact, a source close to the former couple told People that Kimberly “has to serve as ambassador to Greece, which is important for the administration, and she will be away for a long time. She is smart and dedicated. There’s no reason for hostility.” According to the same source, “Don Jr. and Kim remain friends,” noting that she “is a loyal and consistent supporter of Trump and a trusted advisor,” as demonstrated by her journalistic and political activities. Moreover, according to Page Six, “she is also very close to the Trump family and will remain in touch with President Trump in her new role,” a fact that dispelled any suspicion of awkwardness during her interactions with members of the president’s family circle during the inauguration festivities.

The official commencement of Trump’s second presidency did not slow down the new U.S. ambassador to Greece in her daily activities or her enthusiastic commitment to defending the MAGA agenda on her digital platform, Rumble. In her latest show, titled “No More Woke,” Kimberly Guilfoyle opened by featuring statements from the new president during his post-inauguration interview on Fox News—where she herself was a long-time host—before giving the floor to the author of the book Woketopus (a play on “woke” and “octopus”). The discussion criticized the “tentacles” of American bureaucracy for advancing the woke agenda.
In this context, the new U.S. ambassador to Greece described Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs as “disastrous,” applauding Trump’s decision to dismantle them as historic. She argued that for too long, “American bureaucrats have been living on a different planet from the rest of us.” Guilfoyle, who has authored three books, released her latest in 2024, The Princess & her Pup, aimed at teaching children “that it’s easier to be brave with a friend by your side.”
Additionally, 10% of the book’s proceeds are donated to Furry Friends, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals. The charity provides comprehensive care for abused and abandoned dogs and cats, including rescue and medical treatment, reflecting the ambassador’s deep sensitivity toward pets.
Love for Animals
Her affection for animals is evident in her public engagements. For example, she promotes special discounts on pet products through the digital platform patriotbenefits.net, which she showcases on her television program. This platform, as Guilfoyle explains, aims to provide “non-insurance healthcare” and “beneficial programs for everyday life,” offering a wide array of money-saving options such as discount pharmacy cards, reduced prices at restaurants and supermarkets, budget-friendly flights and travel, identity theft protection, free and affordable legal services, and roadside assistance.
While the program does not qualify as “insurance coverage” and is “not intended to replace insurance,” as explicitly stated, it aims to make life easier for MAGA supporters in their everyday lives.
Among the numerous activities of the new U.S. ambassador to Greece is her growing interest in Greek political affairs, which she has begun to delve into more deeply in recent months. “She is a particularly intelligent individual” who “graduated from one of the best universities,” remarked New Democracy MP Katerina Karampatsoli enthusiastically. Karampatsoli was the only Greek MP to attend the inauguration of the new American president.
Additionally, former minister and leader of the Independent Greeks party Panos Kammenos shared a photo with Kimberly Guilfoyle in Greece. Kammenos, looking refreshed, had traveled to Washington for the moment of transition at the White House. Guilfoyle’s engagement with Greek politics is evident, as she takes every opportunity to connect with Greek politicians ahead of formally assuming her duties.
