Farmers of Thessaly are escalating their mobilizations as they are at the blockades.

Shortly after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, farmers from Karditsa and Farsala started with tractors and other agricultural machinery from the blockade point on E-65 and moved to the main streets of the city, stopping at the central square of Karditsa.

Members of the coordinating body of the blockade at the junction of E-65, in Karditsa, held a press conference earlier in the day and stressed that the government has not responded to the farmers’ demands and that it is they, not the farmers, who are closing the roads.

The farmers on Friday 31/1/2025, as noted in the press conference, will hold a protest demonstration at the PPC for rural electricity, while on Sunday, at 11 am, they invite local authorities, unions, bodies, associations and citizens at the point of the blockade.
