The President of the PASOK-Charity Party of Change, Nikos Androulakis, participated in the work of the pre-summit of the leaders of the European Socialist Party in Brussels on Monday morning.
Immediately afterward, Androulakis made the following gesture:
“The threats to the European Union are multiplying. After Putin, Erdogan, now President Trump is threatening states of the European Union.
European leaders must stop sleepwalking and make decisions that will make citizens feel safe in every country in the Union. Clear decisions, with concrete steps.
There must be a common foreign policy, common armaments, and a Euro army. Rules must also be established for the export of arms to third countries from the European Union.
It is inconceivable that powerful European states arm Turkey, while there is a casus belli threatening our country and, in addition, the neighboring country is constantly threatening Cyprus, when Erdogan says that his priority is the partition of the island.”
