A musical tribute to the legendary mambo and swing compositions of Manolis Xiotis has been curated by Lina Nikolakopoulou and will be presented on stage at Gialino Mousiko Theatro Up Stage starting February 8. The program will feature bouzouki virtuoso Manolis Karantinis, alongside singers Gerasimos Andreatos and Aspasia Stratigou.

The innovative Manolis Hiotis, who revolutionized the traditional three-string bouzouki by adding a fourth string, unleashed a new level of speed, rhythms, and musical motifs, transforming the landscape of Greek entertainment and music.

This unique musical event will highlight some of Hiotis’ most electrifying rhythmic songs, famously performed by Mary Linda. The program promises to evoke nostalgia and transport audiences to a simpler, joyful era of Greek music history.
