The Council on Relations Canada- US will hold a summit on Friday in Toronto, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after a 30-day pause on tariffs proposed by the Trump administration that went into effect this week.

Trudeau said the summit will examine ways to grow the Canadian economy, expand trade within the country, diversify export markets, and manage productivity. It will also seek to increase coordination among partners.
