Voridis: The government will say “yes” to the preliminary inquiry on Christos Triantopoulos

Newsroom February 5 09:00

Minister of State Makis Voridis announced that the government majority will support the proposal for a preliminary inquiry into Christos Triantopoulos, provided that PASOK’s request falls within the framework of the existing case file in Parliament.

“From your remarks, I understand that your proposal will be in line with the prosecutor’s ruling. In that ruling, the prosecutor calls for criminal prosecution for the offense of breach of duty, which is a misdemeanor. We reiterate what the Prime Minister has already said. We affirm that the process will indeed move forward. Because we care just as much as you do—perhaps even more—to fully understand what has happened.”
