The TITAN Group announced the sale of cement operations in Eastern Turkey, a cement distribution station and related infrastructure.

More specifically, according to the announcement:

“Titan Cement International SA announces that it has entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of 75% of its cement production company Adocim Cimento Beton Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. in Eastern Turkey, with 50% to be transferred to Mugla Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. and 25% to Yurt Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. Following this transaction, the TITAN Group will receive a total cash of USD 87.5 million. This sale is part of the TITAN Group’s long-term growth objectives in Turkey. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025.

The sale is part of TITAN Group’s broader strategy to strengthen its portfolio and seek new investment opportunities. The Group will continue to operate the cement grinding plant and the pozzolan mine in Western Turkey.

The sale includes a cement plant, a cement distribution station and related infrastructure. Employees employed in these operations will join the new companies as part of the deal, ensuring smooth continuity for customers and co-shareholders.”
