"Of course, if we had ten times the budget, it would have been even better," she added

Newsroom February 27 09:00

In a recent interview, Demy shared her thoughts on the new ERT series “Maria who became Callas” and the feedback it has received. The singer, who portrayed the sister of Maria Callas in the show, expressed her happiness with the project, emphasizing that the audience has embraced it and she’s been hearing plenty of positive comments.

Speaking to reporters during an evening outing, Demy stated, “I’m really happy with the series. I think people have embraced it, and I’m hearing a lot of nice feedback.”

In a clip aired on the “Happy Day” show, she acknowledged that everyone has a right to their opinion but made it clear that her team is satisfied with the final result. “I think it’s okay for everyone to have an opinion, and some people make a profession out of having opinions. As for us, we are happy with what we’ve done,” she noted.

Lastly, Demy pointed out that if the budget were bigger, the production could have been even better. “In any case, we know we’ve done something in Greece for ERT with a lot of love and a good result. Of course, if we had ten times the budget, it would have been even better,” she concluded.
