“In Thessaloniki I was told that two of those arrested were children of the good society, children of wealthy families,” Afroditi Latinopoulou said in her statements on Friday night about those who caused the clashes at the Tempi rally.

“We know very well what happens with these good kids, that the phone rings from parents and relatives to be released because they have a plug. These things are over with me,” added the president of the Voice of Reason.

“As far as these incidents that are a disgrace to the country making the rounds, these ‘good boys’ who are parasites, who are anarchists, should be arrested. They should all be in jail and arrested,” she continued in her interview with Kontra News.

Referring to a video she showed from her mobile phone showing people with hammers starting to break marbles outside the hotels in Syntagma Square, Latinopoulou said “they are the ones I demand to be arrested and they should be in jail. They cannot be destroying property and be free. And they should pay for the damages or a letter should be sent to their families. A serious state does not allow incidents to take place.“
