Santorini cruise route is back after a joint ministerial decision gives the green light for cruise ships to sail, subject to conditions.

More specifically, cruise ships will dock exclusively at berths open to the port of Athinios and at predetermined times, so as not to affect ferry services.

The beginning will be made by Celestyal whose ship will arrive on the island on the morning of next Sunday, March 23, carrying 1,200 passengers.

According to data from the Thera Port Authority, at least five cruise ships are expected to arrive next week, carrying a total of 6,000 passengers, while 35 arrivals are planned for April.
