A message from St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine:

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As we approach Holy Week and the glorious Feast of Pascha, we are called to cleanse our souls, renew our hearts, and draw closer to the boundless grace of God. The Sacrament of Holy Confession is a sacred gift through which we are spiritually healed, forgiven, and restored. It is the means by which God’s love renews us, lifting the burdens of our sins and granting us the strength to walk in His light.

Through sincere repentance and confession, we open ourselves to the cleansing power of God’s mercy, which renews our hearts, strengthens our faith, and prepares us to receive the Risen Christ with purity and joy. Just as Christ’s Resurrection brings new life to the world, this Holy Sacrament offers us a fresh beginning, enabling us to better our lives and become beacons of His love for those around us.

At Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine, Fr. Andreas and Fr. Samuel will be available for confessions every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
