More than 25,000 passengers arrived at Attica’s ports on Wednesday

Significant passenger traffic was recorded on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the main ports of Attica, with travelers once again choosing ferries for their transportation to and from the islands.

At the port of Piraeus, through the Gate of Tzelepis, 12 sailings took place, bringing in 15,035 arriving passengers. On the same day, 32 ship arrivals were logged on the Saronic Gulf routes, carrying 6,888 passengers.

Traffic was also up at the port of Rafina, which saw 9 arrivals with 5,064 passengers disembarking, while in Lavrio, 1,557 passengers arrived through 5 scheduled routes.

The data confirm the continued momentum of ferry travel, especially as the summer season approaches, with port authorities maintaining a high level of readiness to ensure the safe and smooth service of the traveling public.
