Madrid Open: Tsitsipas and Sakkari matches postponed

The blackout affecting all of Spain has led the organizers of the Madrid Open to decide to cancel all matches scheduled for Monday (28/4)

In a brief announcement citing force majeure, the organizers of the Madrid Open confirmed shortly after 5:30 PM the definitive postponement of today’s schedule.

Today’s program included the matches of Stefanos Tsitsipas against Lorenzo Musetti in the tournament’s round of 32, and Maria Sakkari facing Elina Svitolina in the round of 16 of the women’s draw. We are now awaiting further announcements regarding how the matches will be conducted tomorrow (29/4).
