A new trade deal between the United States and the United Kingdom has been announced by Donald Trump, calling it a “comprehensive and comprehensive” agreement that strengthens ties between the two countries.
In a post on the Truth Social platform, the US president said: “The agreement with the United Kingdom is complete and comprehensive and will cement the relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom for many years to come.”
Trump emphasized the “long-standing historic relationship and alliance” with London, calling it a “great honor” that Britain is the first country with which a new trade deal has been formally announced during his presidency.
According to him, other agreements are in an advanced stage of negotiation and are to be announced soon.
