Matteo Bocelli: Venue change for his concert in Athens

The 27-year-old son of Andrea Bocelli follows in his father’s footsteps

Newsroom May 28 06:00

There has been a venue change for Matteo Bocelli’s concert in Athens, which will still take place on June 13, as originally scheduled, but not at the “Melina Mercouri” Theater of the Rocks. Instead, it will now be held at the “Pallas” Theater, with all pre-sold tickets remaining valid.

A sensitive and charismatic artist, the 27-year-old son of Andrea Bocelli is proving to be a performer who delivers songs with both power and deep emotion.
The program he will present at the Pallas will include songs from various music genres, selections from his own discography, as well as classic songs that have shaped him.

In an online interview given a few days ago, ahead of his upcoming performance in Greece, he shared his excitement about traveling to Athens:

“I hope this time I’ll have the chance to visit and get to know your beautiful country, Greece, a bit better. There are so many wonderful things in your culture,” he said.

Matteo Bocelli was raised in a musical environment – both opera and classical – and, as he stated, he learned a great deal from his father:

“My father has passed on his knowledge to me. He is a role model, and I respect him deeply,” he said meaningfully.
