ADEDY (the Civil Servants’ Confederation) has announced a nationwide work stoppage on Thursday, June 6, 2025, in connection with the model trial being held at the Council of State (StE) regarding the reinstatement of the 13th and 14th monthly salaries for public sector employees.

The work stoppage will run from the beginning of the workday until 11:00 a.m., and public sector workers in the Athens metropolitan area are urged to attend a protest gathering outside the Council of State at 9:30 a.m. (corner of Aiolou and Sofokleous streets).

Who is exempt:

• Secondary education teachers
• Administrative staff at the Ministry of Education involved in the Panhellenic university entrance exams
• All judicial employees

These groups are excluded to ensure the uninterrupted conduct of critical national exams and judicial functions.
