Trump calls on Europe to act against out-of-control immigration

The US president referred to an invasion of Los Angeles by foreign enemies and ordered the deployment of thousands of members of the armed forces

Newsroom June 11 02:32

US President Donald Trump said yesterday (Tuesday) that Europe must take action “against out-of-control immigration” and that “before it’s too late,” linking his urging to the protests in Los Angeles against its immigration policy.

“As the whole world can now see, out-of-control immigration leads to chaos, dysfunction and unrest. And you know what? That’s what’s happening in Europe. It is happening in numerous countries in Europe. They had better do something before it’s too late,” the US president admonished during a speech at a military base.

Meanwhile, the US president said yesterday that Los Angeles, where riots broke out between members of law enforcement and citizens protesting against his illegal immigration policy, had been invaded by “foreign enemies” during a speech at a military base.

“We will not allow an American city to be invaded and conquered by foreign enemies,” the US president said.

“What you are seeing in California is a generalized attack on peace, public order and national sovereignty, carried out by rioters flying foreign flags and intent on continuing the foreign invasion of our country,” President Trump also said.
