A digital assistant based on Artificial Intelligence technologies is being installed by the Municipality of Kalymnos in a new e-government that brings together all the digital services of the municipality for the service of citizens.

According to a relevant announcement of the Municipality of Kalymnos, the e-portal is implemented in cooperation with the company CROWDPOLICY, a specialized provider of digital solutions in local government with many years of experience and expertise.

The applications to be implemented are:

The integrated web portal (e-gov portal) brings together all digital services of the Municipality, facilitating citizens’ access to information and procedures.

The digital assistant of the Municipality (chatbot), based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. An autonomous tool that will enable a chat, with immediate and automated answers to the questions of citizens and visitors, offering information on municipal services, events, and other issues of interest to the Municipality and Kalymnos.

Public Consultation Platform, a participatory tool that allows citizens to actively contribute to the planning of projects through open consultations, expressing opinions and suggestions for the actions of the Municipality.

Projects on Map, a modern geographic information system for the mapping, management, and monitoring of the Municipality’s projects and actions, to increase transparency and efficiency.

This collaboration is a key step in the implementation of the Municipality’s strategy to promote digital governance, using technology for the benefit of society, to better serve the citizens and visitors of the island, and for a more modern, participatory, and open Municipality.
