UPDATE:
Donald Trump has just announced a “full ceasefire” between Iran and Israel.
In a post on the social media platform Truth Social, he wrote:

——————————————————————————————————–
Following Iran’s missile strike on American bases in the Middle East, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Tehran’s response was “weak” and “expected,” noting that there were no casualties or injuries. At the same time, he thanked Iran for having warned about the attack, which resulted in there being no losses.

Trump’s statement came after Tehran’s missile attack on the Al Udeid base in Qatar and Ain al-Asad base in Iraq, in response to U.S. bombings of Iranian nuclear facilities.
The tone of the statement, with references to “peace and harmony,” as well as the expression of gratitude for the “warning,” is interpreted by international analysts as an attempt by Washington to de-escalate the situation, at a time when the Middle East remains on a knife’s edge.
