A major blunder has occurred involving Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated film, The Odyssey. Although Universal Pictures had planned for the trailer to debut exclusively in theaters and had not released any official footage, the teaser has leaked online, creating a stir among fans and film enthusiasts.
The trailer opens with a moody shot of the ocean, accompanied by a voiceover:
“Darkness. Zeus’ law shattered. A kingdom without a king since my master died. He knew it was a war lost from the start. And yet, somehow, he won it.”
In the teaser, Tom Holland appears as Telemachus, asking a character played by Jon Bernthal if he has seen his father. Bernthal replies that he hasn’t seen him since the Trojan War, then turns to a crowd and asks:
“Who has a story about Odysseus? You? You have a story?”
He continues: “Some say he’s rich. Others, poor. Some say he’s dead. Some say he’s imprisoned. But what kind of prison could ever hold a man like that?”
The trailer ends with a distant shot of a man floating on a piece of wood — likely Odysseus himself, portrayed by Matt Damon.
