Nearly 1,000 ferry passengers in Piraeus experienced a travel setback today.
Specifically, the ferry “Poseidon” suffered a mechanical failure in its left main engine while docked at the Port of Piraeus, preventing it from beginning its scheduled voyage.
The ship was set to sail from Piraeus to Aegina and Agistri, carrying 950 passengers, 40 cars, 35 motorbikes, and 3 buses.
The passenger transfer to their intended destinations will be arranged by the ferry company.
