Tough times for veteran international footballer Demis Nicolaidis, as his partner, Alexandra Nicolaidou, defeated in her battle with cancer, has passed away at the age of 41. The 41-year-old woman had been hospitalized for the last time, with her condition having deteriorated.

Alexandra Nikolaidou, had studied at the Technical University, worked at a clothing company, and had appeared as an actress in the 1996 ANT1, “Good Night Mom” series.

She had been in a relationship with the former AEK and Atletico Madrid player since 2022. The two had initially chosen to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. The couple made their first public appearance togetherin May 2023at the AEK Athens stadium.

She had revealed her battle with cancer in a post earlier this year, while Demis Nikolaidis was constantly standing by her side during her match.
