Women leaders from 70 countries in Greece for the FCEM World Congress

The FCEM World Congress 2025 women's entrepreneurship conference for the first time in Athens

Newsroom September 2 02:36

The Hellenic Women Entrepreneurs Association (SEGE) is honored to host for the first time in Greece the FCEM World Congress 2025, the leading global conference on women’s entrepreneurship, which will take place on 3-5 November 2025 at the Wyndham Grand Athens Hotel.

This year’s event is particularly significant, as it coincides with the 80th anniversary of the founding of FCEM (Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales) – a historic organization founded in 1945 in France that today unites more than 5 million women entrepreneurs in 120 countries and 5 continents.

With the theme “80 Years of women leading entrepreneurial legacy for sustainable futures”, the conference highlights the power of women to turn challenges into drivers of change, shaping a more equitable, sustainable and innovative future.

This international gathering is expected to bring together women entrepreneurs and decision-makers from over 70 countries, to create a powerful forum for exchanging ideas, networking and promoting women’s leadership in business and society, globally.

More specifically. The themes of the event will focus on new technologies, sustainability, economic empowerment, innovation and women’s leadership. At the same time, B2B meetings, cultural and networking events will be held, to create partnerships and share best practices.

The President of SEGE, Ms. Lina Tsaltabasi, states: “Hosting the FCEM World Congress 2025 in Greece is not only a supreme honor, but also a strategic responsibility – a national bet with international resonance. This is the moment to showcase the strength, resilience and vision of Greek women entrepreneurs, who in every corner of the country are turning limited opportunities into innovative solutions and meaningful change. This year, Athens becomes a global meeting point for women’s leadership, entrepreneurship of the future, and intercultural dialogue. Together, we are raising women’s voices, joining forces and shaping a more sustainable, inclusive, and bright tomorrow.”

The selection of Athens as the host city is an honor and a strategic move to promote Greece as a hub of innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development, as well as a cultural crossroads between continents.

By organizing the conference, SEGE seeks to enhance international cooperation, promote investment, and facilitate access to capital and expertise for women in leadership roles.

The event’s multi-level participation and interactive activities promise authentic networking “off the beaten track”, with initiatives that highlight women as catalysts for change in the economy, technology and society.
