Kirki, the young bear cub that was seriously injured in a car accident in Kastoria on August 9, has now left the difficult moments behind. After weeks of care and rehabilitation, she has fully recovered, according to Arcturos.
With a strong appetite for food and a spirited, wild character, Kirki seems ready to continue her journey. Her caretakers are planning the next stage: in the coming days, she will be transferred to a large fenced forest area.
There, she will live under conditions that resemble her natural environment, until the time comes for her to be released back into the wild.
