Turkish automaker TOGG is preparing to officially unveil the T8X, a new model expected to become a benchmark, particularly in terms of performance.
Following its successful presence in the Turkish market and its dynamic entry into Germany, TOGG is intensifying efforts to expand across Europe.
According to available information, the company is now turning its attention to France and Italy, following its debut in Germany. To support this expansion, TOGG plans to soon present the new T8X, a compact SUV that will be smaller in size than the T10X.
At the Munich Auto Show, company chairman Fuat Tosyalı and CEO Gürcan Karakaş outlined TOGG’s European strategy. Tosyalı emphasized that the T10X and T10F earned five stars in Euro NCAP crash tests, significantly boosting the brand’s reputation in Europe and laying the groundwork for the acceptance of the upcoming T8X.
Karakaş explained that Germany was chosen as the company’s first European market because it is the largest and most competitive in Europe:
“Success in this demanding market is of utmost importance for us.”
He also highlighted TOGG’s substantial investments in battery technology, revealing that the company is developing lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries in cooperation with leading international firms.
“Battery technology is evolving rapidly, and TOGG will continue to secure access to the best available resources in order to keep pace with these changes.”
Regarding the new T8X, Karakaş said that the company aimed to accelerate the development-to-production timeline, reducing it compared to the 2.5 years that elapsed between the T10X and the later T10F. Thanks to the team’s improved experience and adoption of new technologies, the T8X is expected to enter the market about two years earlier than initially planned.
