Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said he was not aware of the claims made by Yulia Navalnaya that her husband, Alexei Navalny, was poisoned in a Russian prison.
Navalnaya stated today that foreign laboratories had tested biological samples taken from her husband, which showed that he had been poisoned.
Peskov also said today that Russia is open to resolving the conflict in Ukraine through diplomatic means.
He made this statement while commenting on warnings from U.S. President Donald Trump, who threatened to impose additional sanctions on Russia and urged the EU to stop buying Russian oil.
Dmitry Peskov further stated that Russia supports reform of the United Nations Security Council, but added that reaching consensus on such reform is nearly impossible at present, since so many countries hold diametrically opposed positions.
